Did you know?
Bitcoin's supply is mathematically capped at 21 million coins; no government or central bank can create more, and over 19 million have already been mined. Roughly every four years, the rate at which new bitcoin enters circulation is cut in half, an event known as 'the halving,' which steadily tightens supply over time. This built-in scarcity is a core reason many investors compare bitcoin to gold and hold it as a potential long-term store of value. Spot bitcoin ETFs were only approved in early 2024, so investing in the cryptocurrency through a regulated, exchange-traded structure (rather than a crypto exchange) is still a relatively new option.

The root problem with conventional currency is all the trust that's required to make it work.
